We drove into Jasper Friday evening after a morning of slow packing and dilly dallying. Jasper National Park was empty of cars and we rolled into Jasper for a quiet evening in town. My first thought was “wow, what a hidden gem! we should live here.” Little did I know, it was only quiet and empty because it was 10pm. Definitely not a hidden gem!

One month after running Rockwall and with one 10km run in between, Justin and I figured we were ready enough to do the Juan de Fuca trail. The Juan de Fuca trail, while shorter than Rockwall, was substantially more technical and slippery.

After two months of little to no training, Justin, Erin, and I decided we were ready to run Rockwall - a 56km (~35mi) trail with 2650m (~8700ft) of elevation gain. What could possibly go wrong? Nothing! (is what we proved)

Kick off the data with a bright and early Boulder Skyline job with David! The Boulder Skyline Traverse traces the silhoutte of the front range. Though I had done the run a few times, David was the one that came prepared and fed me snacks along the way. Link to Strava.

This was one off the bucket list! A very cool run that takes you from the Eldora side of the front range to the ridgeline where you can see Winter Park. A splendid fall color run with my mom.
