Mount Audubon, Roosevelt National Forest, CO | 14.64mi, 5148ft

My first repeat post, exciting! My last time up here was in 2020 during Covid. Last time, I was escaping the indoors to be outside in the smoke.

This time we were delighted to find snow and 100mph (only a slight exaggeration) winds. This go around was also a bit longer as the Brainard Lake gate was closed.

 

   

As a new bird watcher, running into a grouse again on the descent was a delight.
