Byers Peak, Winter Park, CO | 5.1mi, 2021ft

Several years ago, I was looking at Byers Peak and telling myself I need to get up there. So, we went!

October felt like maybe it was a touch too late to go up, however the snow levels were low and we only did a bit of trudging.

It was a long dirt road walk in because the gate was closed; in the future, I would bike up.

   

We ran into some hunters looking for grouse or something else. They had no luck, but we heard some creatures running through the snow!
